23 WIFR Names New General Manager

Rockford, IL – Gray Television, Inc., parent company of 23 WIFR announced that Tim Myers has been named the new Vice President – General Manager of its CBS affiliate in Rockford, IL. Myers takes over for Greg Graber who recently retired.
Tim is a native of the area, growing up in Freeport and graduating from Freeport High School. He and his wife Jackie and their daughter Holly live in Rockford.
He has worked in local media since 1992 and has been with 23 WIFR since 1998 where he has been the General Sales Manager since 2002. During Myers’ tenure at the station, 23 WIFR has been the market leader in ratings and revenue since 2005.
Tim is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and received his master’s degree from Western Illinois University.
