WVLT-TV announced Friday that Marybeth Jacoby has been named News Director of its CBS, CW, and MyNetwork network affiliated television stations and various digital platforms and products in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Jacoby is an award-winning, seasoned news veteran with 20 years of experience. Prior to joining WVLT, Jacoby served as News Director at WLTX in Columbia, SC for nine years. Previously she was an Executive Producer in Jacksonville and Dallas, and Special Projects Manager at WCNC in Charlotte.
