This year at the Florida AP Awards WCJB TV20 continued strengthening its reputation as a preferred destination for the nation's most promising young reporters. The station submitted seven entries for consideration and walked away with three awards in the small market television group. Reporter and anchor Brooke Shafer was deemed the state's top small market multi-media reporter. Reporter and anchor Carla Bayron placed second for breaking news coverage. And reporter Haley Wade scored a second place finish in light news features. We expect to see more awards rolling in as we continue to raise the bar for news coverage at WCJB TV20.
