KKTV is thrilled to announce it was honored with two regional Edward R. Murrow awards!

11 News at 10 won the award for Best Newscast, while our Hiding Holmes investigation was recognized for Best Investigative Reporting.

KKTV was chosen from thousands of entries. Regional winners will automatically advance to the national competition in May.

The Edward R. Murrow Awards recognize the best electronic journalism produced by radio, television and digital news organizations worldwide. In a statement from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA), the association's chair said the awards were a testament to the work all newsrooms do every day.

"Remarkable journalism is being done every day in newsrooms across this country. We're proud to recognize the most outstanding ways journalists are keeping the public informed, holding the powerful accountable and enhancing the quality of life in their communities," Vincent Duffy said.
