WCJB TV20, the #1 television station in North Central Florida, announces that Tim Orwig has been named Director of Local and Digital Sales of their Gainesville, Fl stations. Tim has been with WCJB since January 2012 and succeeds Alan Chatman, who has been promoted to VP/General Manager.

Christian Chase has been hired as Digital Sales Manager to lead WCJB’s digital sales team. Christian has been in the Gainesville media market for 10 years. “I’m looking forward to leading the #1 station with their top notch LocalX digital offerings as well as the expanded products we offer on WCJB.com.” LocalX is a designated Premier Google Partner.

WCJB, the local ABC affiliate, and The Gainesville CW stations are part of the Gray Television family of stations. Gray owns over 100 stations nationwide and acquired the Gainesville, Fl stations effective May 1, 2017.
